I am delighted to be teaching grade two at Rennies River Elementary. I
graduated with a Bachelor of Education Degree (Primary)in 1994. From 1994 to
1996 I taught English as a Second Language in Osaka, Japan. It was great to
travel throughout Asia and experience other cultures. Upon my return to
Canada I taught English to immigrants at the Association for New Canadians
Language School. In 1998 I began teaching primary students in the Avalon
East School District. Schools I have taught at include, St. Augustine's
Primary School, St. Agnes School in Pouch Cove, Holy Cross Elementary, and
Virginia Park Elementary. During this time I completed a Master of Education
Degree from Mount Saint Vincent University. I am excited to be teaching at
Rennies River which also happens to be the same school that I attended as a
child!
