-The final project for the novel Le Solo d'André is due on Tuesday, Jan. 10.

mardi, le 13 décembre

-We have now finished reading the novel le Solo d'André. Students need to finish the vocabulary sheet and comprehension questions that were distributed today. Next class we will begin our final activity.

We read pages 48-61 of Le solo d'André. Students must finish 1-6 of the vocabulary section of the worksheet.

-We are continuing to read the novel Le Solo d'André. Students should finish the sheet for chapter 6 (pages 43-48).

-We corrected Vocab sheet #1 as well as question shet #2. 
-I read pages 19-26 of Le Solo d'André to the class. I explained that when reading a French novel it is neessary to read each chapter more than once.  Even though there are no assigned worksheets to complete today it would be a good idea for students to reread the novel up to page 26. You can even read ahead a few pages if you have time!

-Students should finish vocab sheet #1 and question sheet #1 on Le Solo D'André if they did not finish in class.

-Don't forget about the quiz on -er, -re and -ir verbs tomorrow.
-We began a novel study today -Le solo d'André. We will be working on this novel over the next couple of weeks.  Each student has their own copy of the novel so if they are absent it is easy to catch up with the reading.

vendredi, le 11 novembre
-There will be a quiz on -er, -re and -ir verbs on Thursday, Nov. 17. Everything you need is in your notes and on the practice worksheeets that you have completed.

-We reviewed the conjugation of -ir verbs in the present tense - notes given. The worksheet that was assigned in class should be finished for homework.
-There will be a reading assessment tomorrow. Make sure you bring a pencil. There is nothing that you need to prepare in advance.

-A number of students were at band practice today. They will need to complete the vocabulary on L'eau pour tous (text page 18). Time was provided in class last week to work on this so it is just a matter of finishing off. Also, everyone needs to finish the worksheet on L'eau pour tous. The full class was given to work on this sheet.
