January 31st- February 3rd
Welcome back! This is our last week in ICF, next week we will be returning to all day English with regular French Class. You have all been fantastic throughout the ICF program and your enthusiasm has made everyday quite enjoyable!
In math we will be introducing our next unit on Motion Geometry. This week we will be reviewing some of the concepts that were covered in grade five, and beginning to look closer at translations.
In science we will be going through a quick review of the four forces and the parts of an airplane before beginning our final assignment!
In French we will be finishing our unit on Music and beginning a unit on animals. While, French class will become more infrequent next week, we will be working on a new theatrical performance. As this is our last full week, please put every effort into using known vocabulary!
Thank you to all students for your participation in literacy day on Friday, your art projects turned out beautifully and you all seemed to have fun partaking in our literacy focused centres.
I also ask that you check with your child to see if they need any supplies as we are halfway throughout the year now. Students also need to bring appropriate footwear for Phys. Ed as well as dress for the cold weather.
