This is my 15th year at Allenstown Elementary School. Prior to School
Nursing I worked in a hospital setting in Pediatrics, Orthopedics, and
Medical-Surgical Units. I also volunteered at a Summer Camp as the
nurse. My children use to attend camp the weeks that I served in the
beautiful mountains of NH. I'm an American Red Cross Instructor certified
in CPR and First Aid. I'm also a member of the National School Nurses
Association and the State of NH Nurses Association.
I have two grown children that both attended college and have professions
of their own. The years fly by so enjoy your children and grow right along
with them.
My husband and I are very active with the Shriners Hospitals for
children. Children receive free medical care for orthopedic and Burn Care
regardless whether parents have insurance or not. If you know of a child
that needs help please let us know. The medical care is top notch.
I love to walk and hike for exercise and recently started taking Yoga
classes.
To promote and support the health needs of our students so they can be
sucessful academically in school. Healthy bodies make healthy minds.
