| HOMEWORK
Homework is assigned to extend and reinforce classroom learning, develop
sound work habits and assist students in becoming self-directed.
Appropriate homework assignments include practice, enrichment
activities, research or individual study projects, reading in
preparation for class, review for tests and daily reading.
Homework is based on students' needs, abilities and achievement range.
It is positive and reinforces students' individual skills and/or
interests.
PARENT VISITATION
Parents are welcome at school anytime. However, if you do wish to
observe a learning activity at any time, please call and acquire
information about the class schedule. Parents should always check
in at the office when visiting. The office must be aware of all
adults on the school property to insure the safety of the children.
This is for their protection.
Parents, please sign in with the teacher on duty if you are on the
premises during morning recess. This is to monitor for security of the
students and staff. The side entrances(these doors are locked) are not
to be used by any adults/parents throughout the day.
PARKING (VISITORS)
The rear parking lot is designated for staff only. Use visitor parking
areas or the front street areas if you need to park at the school.
This is to restrict the congestion in the parking areas and reduce the
potential of cars coming in close contact with children. Thank you for
your understanding and assistance in keeping our students safe.
STUDENTS EVALUATION
