| This month we are collecting food in order to make holiday food baskets for needy families. A notice
went home on Dec. 1. Collections will run until December 16. The following items are needed: canned
vegetables, cranberry sauce, stuffing mix, instant potatoes, pie filling, pastry mix, pudding, muffin and
quick bread mixes. Please check expiration dates before sending items in. Thank you for your help!
We also will continue to collect for the Heifer Project. I will accept donations until Dec. 23. Any
donation is greatly appreciated.
I have a link on my links page called the "Portaportal". This is a
doorway that leads to lots of kidfriendly sites on the internet. It is a way
to guide kids to educational sites on the web. Each teacher at AES has their
own site with great opportunities to practice skills or have fun. Check it out!!!

THEM ON SPECIALLY MARKED FOOD ITEMS. EACH BOX TOP IS WORTH 10 CENTS FOR OUR
SCHOOL!
