I hope to teach in the 2nd grade classrooms again this year. Topics that are typically discussed in
class inlcude good touch and bad touch,that you can have more than one friend at a time, and what a
bully looks like, the difference between bullying and conflicts with friends, how to make friends and
keep friends, dealing with frustration, and being accepting of others regardless of our differences. I do
try to send home some papers that help begin conversations with your child about what I taught.
I am always encouraging the kids to include everyone. Feel free to contact me if there is
anything I can do to help your child at school.
Parents are always welcome to come to my classes. Just call me to inquire
as to when I will be teaching in your child's classroom.
