| We so very rarely have homework in the music room. The only exception would be in the fall, when 4th
graders are learning to play the recorder. Each week they advance in the (Barbie Pink!) method book we
use at AES. These assignments are posted here each week, so upcoming 4th grade parents, remember
to check here if you have a question about what your budding musician should be practicing!
Week of November 18th - Learn the new note 'D' (make sure to hold your recorder with BOTH HANDS)
and #4 on page 15.
Week of December 1st - Students will begin working on a great arrangement of Christmas songs called
'Kris Kringle's Jingle Thingle'. This comes with pre-recorded accompaniment, so if you have a CD
player, send in a blank CD to get a copy of the great background instruments. We will continue to work
on this arrangement all month.
