Dear Parents and Students, Welcome to our new class! We are about to begin an exciting adventure together in first grade. I am looking forward to getting to know all of you. We are going to have lots of fun! Here are some ideas for a great start in September: *Please be sure to write your child's name on all of their clothing and supplies. *Please send a snack everyday that your child can manage independently. *All lunch/milk money should be brought to school in an envelope with your child's name on it for the cafeteria. Buying lunch or milk tickets is much easier for your child to use so you may wish to try them. *Parents-All changes in your child's dismissal routine require written permission from a parent every time a change occurs. Your child will hand the note to the appropriate bus driver. The bus driver will only allow your child on the bus with your note.
