Why can't I print?

1) Please make sure your ethernet patch cord is connected. 
2) Check to make sure you are logged on to the network.
3) Check the printer settings in the control panel.  Make sure 
the printer is online and ready.
4) There may be a DRIVER setting error. Please complete a trouble 
ticket.

1) Open two or more applications.
2) Use the key combination ALT + TAB to switch between open 
applications.

How do I split the screen?

1) Open at least two applications.
2) Right-Click on a blank spot on the STATUS bar at the bottom of 
the screen.
3) Click TILE WINDOWS VERTICALLY

You must check with the front office to make sure there is a 
MEDIA CONSENT/RELEASE FORM on file.

Why doesn't my wireless work at home when it works fine at school?

At school we use a PROXY SERVER.  You must turn that feature off 
when using 
your laptop at home.  
Internet Explorer --> Tools --> Internet Options --> Connections -
-> LAN Settings (uncheck the USE A PROXY box when at home) OK

I am in Junior High. How do I become a Tech Helper?

You must apply, in writing, to Mr. Caron stating the reasons 
you'd like to become a Tech Helper.  You should have at least a C 
average, be willing to work hard, and have a positive attitude.

How can I make a web page at home using NOTEPAD?

Make sure you save your file as: filename.html and choose ALL 
FILES where it says: save as.

My Netbook screen is flipped. What do I do?

You need to calibrate the netbook screen.
Launch 9 points calibration and click Save.
(Do not rotate the screen until the netbook is calibrated)
You can also right-click on the desktop and check screen orientation.
Make sure it is set correctly.
