I have been teaching at New Boston Central School for more than 20 years!
Seems like
only yesterday when we had a school population of only 150 students! The
first 8 years I taught 2nd grade then "moved up" to 3rd. Now I am back to
2nd. I have enjoyed the
pleasures and challenges of both grades.
Background: Previous to my teaching career I have worked in the medical
field as a surgical technician. I also worked in business as
an accounting manager. Although I have enjoyed working in
those fields I truly feel most at home in the classroom.
Education: Board certified surgical technologist, Cambridge, MA
Associates degree in Accounting, Southern NH University
Bachelors degree in Sociology, minor in Psychology, Lowell Univ.
Masters degree in Elementary Education, Rivier College
Personal: I live in Newbury, NH with my husband Rick and two cats, Thomas
and James. My passion is boating! I also enjoy metal detecting,
photography, geocaching and reading. My favorite "subject" in
school is SCIENCE!!!
