About The Teacher

Hi! I have been teaching preschool at NBCS since 2000 and I love it here.
When I'm not at school, I like to run, read, sew and work in my flower and
vegetable gardens. My husband and I love yard sales and flea markets and I
can't get enough of the ocean!

My husband and I have 5 children: Kyle is 28 and lives in Bow with his
family. Kerri is also 28 and is moving very soon to Washington, D.C. She is a
chemical engineer and her husband, John, is in law school. Robby is
26 and lives in Concord. Tyler is 25, is an Army Ranger and is currently
stationed at Fort Benning, Georgia. He and his wife Mauri were married in
February. Ryan is the youngest at 23 and lives at the New Jersey shore with
his wife Julia. They really did get married in Costa Rica last February. We
don't see any of them nearly as often as we'd like, but at least they're all
busy and happy in their lives!

When I am at school, I love new crayons, playdoh and glitter! I love to
sing and dance, read books and be very, very silly! I get great joy from
the growth I see in 3 and 4 year old children and love being a part of their
adventure.

I like preschool because I can play and get lots of hugs and kisses!

Mission For The Class

My mission for your children is as much for your family as it is for them.
I hope that your entire family is excited about and invested in your
child's first experience in school as am I. I look at your children as our
baby birds that are learning the skills they need to be ready to try to fly
out of the nest. We work very hard to: use our words, acknowledge how
others feel, try new things, try again if we make mistakes, realize it's ok
to make mistakes and feel oh so proud of our accomplishments! If your child
leaves me in June with self confidence, compassion, and a love for learning,
we have done our jobs and they will learn to fly and be excited to try their
wings.
