I have been a teacher at NBCS for the past 36 years. After graduating from
Plymouth State College w/ a major in Elementary Education, a minor in Science
and concentrations in Music and Math, I was hired in New Boston to teacher
sixth grade science During those 26 years, I received my Masters in Ed from
Fitchburg State College. In 2000, I was certified to teach music K-12 then
becoming the new NBCS music specialist which I have been for the past 11
years. I have been professionally performing as a percussionist for the past
38 years in various theatre performances as well as bands throughout New
Hampshire, Vermont and Mass.
Students will be exposed to various styles of music and develop an
appreciation of the music's importance in our society.
