Hello, my name is Ieva Grauslys (most often referred to as Mrs.G) and this is
my sixth year with Pelham School District. I love working with ESOL students
because having come here from another country myself I can relate to them very
well!
I live in Hudson,NH with my husband, our three sons, ages 13, 6 and 3, two
cats - Blackie and Shakira - and our newest addition to the family - a border
collie Kai.
I am certified in ESOL and have just received my Master of Science in Teaching
English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) from Southern New Hampshire University.
My Bachelor's degree is in English Language and Literature from the University
of Vilnius, Lithuania.
I worked as a translator for a media company prior to becoming a teacher. I
find teaching very rewarding, and learn something new from students every day!
The mission of ESOL program is to help students develop their English language
skills. Four skills - listening, speaking, reading and writing - will be
reviewed with a particular emphasis on reading and writing. These skills will
help the students achieve success in their general curriculum.
