Welcome to the 2011-12 school year! To the new 6th graders, welcome! To our
returning students in grades 7 and 8, welcome back! It is our hope that you
will have a wonderful year. Welcome to all of our Memorial School parents and
families as well!
All students will be given agenda books during the first few days of school.
These books will provide you with the answers to many of your questions. The
agenda books also provide you with valuable information regarding Memorial
School's procedures and practices.
Parents, please take some time to familiarize yourself with this important
text. We ask that you and your student sign the paperwork indicating that you
have read this book. This paper needs to be returned to school ASAP.
We are anxiously awaiting the arrival of our new portable classrooms. This
building will include our library, Foreign Language classes, and the Health
classes. It is expected to arrive some time in late September and we are
hoping to occupy it early in October. In the meantime, we will not have the
luxury of a library and two Unified Arts teachers will share classroom space
with other teachers. We are very sure though, that this portable will be
worth the wait!
