Hello!
My name is Nina Hicks and I am so eager and excited to begin my fourth year
teaching at the Pelham Elementary School. I earned my Bachelors
in Elementary Education and Sociology from Keene State College. I am currently
working on my M.Ed in Reading at Rivier College.
I began working at the Pelham Elementary School in 2007 as a Title I reading
tutor for grades 1-3 helping to improve and support literacy in the
classroom.
I absolutely love teaching children and encouraging students to grow
into strong life long learners!
On a personal note, I live in Salem, NH with my husband Nathan, our
daughter Lilah and our dog Jude. In my free time, I enjoy skiing, shopping,
reading and spending time with my family and friends!
My goal is to create a positive classroom environment where students feel
safe, respected and motivated! I believe that when teachers, students and
parents work together wonderful results can occur!
