There are three major NH book awards that can pertain to the students at Plainfield School. The winners are based on NH student
votes. The selections are overseen by a group of adults, usually librarians, and are posted online underneath the name of the award. It is my
goal to get our student population involved in this process. I am trying to obtain many of the nominees for our library . I will read the books to
the younger children and attempt to get most of the titles for the older students. I am hoping that the books I cannot get, will be available
either at other local libraries or through your personal collection. Voting ballots will be handed out to those students that are interested. Tallies
will be done at school and sent in by me. I am posting the award categories below for your viewing pleasure. If you have any questions, please

Ladybug Award is for the best picture book. This is for grades pre-k through third grade.
