Today is Ash Wednesday, the first day of Lent. Fr. Paul spoke about prayer, fasting, and almsgiving at Mass this morning. We discussed it further in religion class. One way we can help others during Lent is with our donation of food to New Horizons. Students in grade 6 are being asked to bring in jars of peanut butter and jelly for this worthy cause. A notice went home today.It is time to start thinking about Auction Night. The theme for the grade 6 basket is Be Fit. Be Active. Be Engaged.
