I am a graduate of Franklin Pierce University with a Bachelors of Arts Degree
in Elementary Education and American Studies. I graduated Cum Laude with
High Honors in Elementary Education and Honors in American Studies. I am
thrilled to be teaching kindergarten this year at Saint Patrick School.
I am the youngest of 12 children and education has always been instilled as a
top priority in my family. Looking back on my childhood I can recall the
voice of my parents constantly reiterating the importance of a good
education. Throughout my entire academic career the voice of my parents
has never left me. At times I think teaching is in my blood. Last fall I
became the fourth of six sisters to pursue a career in teaching.
Last year I worked as a first grade teacher at St. Margaret School in Lowell,
MA. My teaching methods were largely derived from my philosophy that every
child is capable of learning and that it is my job to help every student
realize his or her potential. I maintained this philosophy throughout my
tenure at St. Margaret School and plan to continue following this philosophy
during my time at Saint Patrick School.
