Welcome to the Woodbury School and the Team Firedrake's first NEWSFLASH of the year. We will try to send out a NEWFLASH alert anytime something of importance comes up. Most of the time a NEWSFLASH is simply a friendly reminder of an event.
With that said:
Friendly Reminder: Grade 6 Open House will be Wednesday, September 7 beginning at 6 PM. You can expect your child to bring home a schedule for you to follow on Wednesday.
Picture Day will be Friday, September 16.
Please return all opening day forms by Wednesday to your student's advisor.
Next week in class Mr. Whittaker will be reviewing the benefits of visiting the team website. One of the biggest issues we as teachers see with students when it comes to adjusting to Woodbury is organization. We ask that you stay informed and communicate with us about any issues or concerns you or your child might have when it comes to school.
We had a great opening week and hope your child did as well. Again please communicate any issues or concerns both positive or negative at any time. The best way to contact us is through email. Teacher contact information can be found on our website. Next week look for new links on our website including blogs, subject area pages, and more.
