TUESDAY: Fact practice sheet 11B, concept practice sheet 11B.
No spelling homework (but it never hurts to review the words!)
          Family Names worksheet.
WEDNESDAY: Fact practice sheet 12B, concept practice sheet 12B.
            Spelling skills page 4 worksheet.
THURSDAY: Fact practice sheet 13B, concept practice sheet 13B.
           Spelling skills page 11 worksheet.
FRIDAY: No homework.

1) Set a consistent time and place for homework to be completed away from as
many distractions as possible.

2) Encourage your child to put his or her homework back in the backpack as
soon as it is finished. Completed work stuck to the fridge for safekeeping is
often there the next day
when it should be back at school.

3) Monitor your child's frustration level. If homework is taking more than
20 minutes to 1/2 hour to complete, jot me a note, have your child put it
away, and we will take another
look at it at school.

Thank you for supporting your child's education by stressing the importance of
completing homework. By doing so, you are helping to create an independent
learner! I encourage
you to read for an additional 15-20 minutes daily with your child (or as often
as possible).
Reading with your child is an important factor in his or her reading success!!!!!
