Technology. It provides educators with an outline of what needs to be 
covered in the area of technology. In particular the basic computer skills 
that are necessary to achieve before 8th grade.

make the Internet a safer place. In particular, it allows the parents to 
bring the message of Internet safety to their community through an outreach 
program.

This site provides educators with lesson plans on topics covering their 
computer skills. In particular, focusing on the importance of taking an 
adult on a ride through cyberspace. It allows children to view sites with a 
trusted adult present that they may not normally visit.

Parents need to take on the responsibility of communicating with their 
children and talk to them about relationships. It is possible that children 
may not be approaching strangers online is they were talked to first by 
someone in their family. This website provides parents with topics that 
should be discussed with their children.

Hillary Clinton feels as though there needs to be government involvement in 
protecting children from online content and predators that are luring young 
children. Clinton worked on introducing two bills that would ban the 
selling of mature rated video games to minors, and the funding of research 
that will test the effects of material on children.

The website is provided by the federal trade commission. It provides the 
children online privacy act, which states commercial websites need to get 
the approval of the parents before collecting any personal information. 
There are guidelines that are provided for teachers on how to protect their 
student's privacy online.
