IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENTS BELOW: PLEASE READ
*Our Letter of the Week for 9/29 through 10/3/08 is "Dd." There will be a
take-home project sent home on Monday which will be due on Friday. Please
collect crafty materials: cotton balls, confetti, magazine/newspaper
clippings, stickers, paint, etc. to complete the project.*
*Children should have ALL school supplies in by now. If you have not brought
in school supplies yet, please send them in. Also, please label your child's
name on their lunchbox AND clothing. It is much easier to differentiate come
lunchtime/lost clothes! Just in case, there is a "Lost and Found" basket
below the desk in the foyer. (at rear entry of school building)*
*There has been a change to the supply list. We will not be using markers
this year in Kindergarten. Please take them from our classroom and keep them
at home. Children may be able to use them at home for varied homework
assignments. Thank you!*
*Keep practicing writing with your child. Also, help your child to
hold a pencil and crayon correctly in his/her hand. It is important for
children at this age to finely develop their fine motor skills to be able to
write more often in the coming months.*
