3rd Grade Homework for the week of 12/14/09-12/18/09

Religion - Monday: Reflect on Luke's gospel (Luke 1: 5-25).  Write three
sentences on it.
Tuesday: Finish page 358.
Wednesday: Finish one question on page 141.
Thursday: Answer one question on page 143.
Friday: Answer one question on page 145.  Choose 1 of 3 Gospel readings on
page 144. Write why it is your favorite of the three.

Math -Monday: Get test signed! 
Tuesday: Finish both workbook pages 51.
Wednesday: Finish both workbook pages 52.
Thursday: Finish both workbook pages 53. 
Friday: no homework

Grammar - Tuesday: Finish workbook page 51.  
Wednesday: Finish workbook page 52.
Thursday: Finish workbook page 53. Study for test!
Friday: Test!

Science- Tuesday: No hw.
Wednesday: No hw.
Thursday: No hw. Merry Christmas!

Spelling- Monday: workbook page 65
Tuesday: Write five sentences, numbers 1-5.
Wednesday: Write five sentences! Numbers 6-10.
Thursday: Study for test! Write five sentences, numbers 11-15.

Reading - Monday: Look up the following words: canyons, grains, peaks,
handful, traded, flowed.  Use these words in six original sentences.  Finish
objective. Study for Vocabulary test!
Tuesday: Vocabulary test! (page 46). Read story on pages 174-179 (Sun, Wind).
Finish page 46 A (practice workbook). 
Wednesday: Finish practice page 48.
Thursday: Finish practice page 49.
