GETTING TO KNOW MRS.KORONEOS
I'm happy to introduce myself on the "Teacher" section of my website.I am
Sylvia Koroneos and I teach 4th grade at Blessed Pope John XXIII Academy. My
husband, Louis of 34 years and I
reside at Harriet St. in West Orange. Our son, George 31, a senior
editor at Pharmaceutical Executive Magazine and his wife, Allison, live in
Montclair. Rita, 28, is a vet technician at an animal hospital in Totawa.
Maria, 25, a graduate of Berkeley College, is presently employed with
Herman Miller in N.Y.C.
I was a stay at home Mom for ten years. I then substituted in the West Orange
Public Schools for another ten years while also tutoring at the Huntington
Learning Center in Livingston before joining the staff at Lourdes in l996.
Now that you know about me, I'm looking forward to our new school year and
learning all about my new 4th graders. Each of you is special and very
important to our class.
We will all try to do our very best
in reading, math and all the rest.
We promise to obey the rules
in our class and in the school.
We'll respect ourselves and others, too
As God has taught us all to do.
We are here to learn all we can
to try our best and be all we can be.
