Hello, welcome to our third grade class in Room 15! My name is Danielle
Dowgin, and I have the great pleasure and responsibility of teaching your
child this year.
This is my first year teaching, and I am very excited to be part of the
Bowne-Munro family. I recently graduated from The College of New Jersey, with
a dual degree in Elementary Education and Sociology. I completed my student
teaching in a 3rd grade classroom in South Brunswick, which is where I grew
up and currently reside. I have worked in a preschool classroom at a daycare in
South Brunswick for the past six years.
I have lots of fun and engaging activities planned for this year, which will
challenge your children and motivate them to learn. I feel that communication
between school and home is not only very important, but vital to each child's
success. I ask you to please support your children in all that they do this
year; in doing so, they will be able to be as successful as possible. The
students must know that we are working together in their best interest; it is
for this reason I welcome and encourage communication from home. I can be

I feel every child has the potential to bring something unique and special to
our classroom. Because of this, it is my hope that we will be able to learn
from each other this year. It is my mission to provide the opportunities and
skills needed for your children to be their very best, as they grow and work
together in our classroom community. I am looking forward to working
together, laughing together, and growing together.
