This is my third year as a Third Grade teacher at Bowne-Munro, after seven
years as a reading specialist. Prior to teaching at Bowne-Munro school, I
taught fourth grade in Connecticut, was employed as a financial analyst for a
major computer company, and owned my own business. This is my all-time
favorite job and I look forward to another wonderful year with my next third
grade class.
I live in East Brunswick with my youngest daughter, Kathleen, my husband and
two pugs. Both Kathleen and my older daughter, Liz, are teachers. As a
family, we love to travel, cook exciting dinners together at home, and spend
time with family and friends.
Your child will have many stories to share about me and my family.
My mission is to prepare students to embrace learning and to help them
acquire the skills to become successful students, accomplished adults and
positive contributors to our society. I will encourage my students to
challenge themselves as they progress this year as learners. Lastly, I look
forward to a positive classroom community full of kindness and support for
everyone
