Homework is an essential part of the third grade curriculum. It serves as
an extension of concepts convered in class as well as a way for families to
become involved with childrens' school work.
It is the responsibility of the student to copy homework into his or her
school agenda daily. Students should not rely soley on this website to
provide all homework information, as homework may be altered on any given day.
Homework is expected to be completed and is usually due the following day,
unless otherwise noted. At times students may be expected to also finish any
uncompleted classwork.
Incomplete homework does not just "go away." Students will be expected to
complete homework during recess or turn in other uncompleted work the
following day.
Students are expected to put their BEST effort into their work at all times
and make an attempt to complete difficult assignments. Students must work
NEATLY and keep assignments organized.
Please check your DAILY PLANNER. Assignments can change during the week.
