What should I do if I am absent or miss class for any reason?

It is the responsiblity of each student to make up any work missed.  
The teachers each have 130 students to teach, and you only have 
yourself to be responsible for.  When work is collected from a day you 
were not in class, you will be held fully responsible for it. Check this web

What days do we have Science? Health?

Each homeroom has a different schedule.  It is a good idea to keep a copy of 
your schedule in your planner and another in your locker.

What do we need to bring to class?

Science:  3 Ring Binder, Folder (with current science magazine, 
and ditto) and something to write with (pencil or pen)

Health:  Notebook and folder (with current health magazine and ditto)
something to write with (pencil or pen)

It is always a good idea to bring a colored pen to mark papers with

Which days do we have to change classrooms for Science or Health?

I will always announce this in the morning or day before.  It will depend on 
the need for the 8th graders needing to use the lab.  In that case we will 
have class in thier room.

When can we use our lockers?

You will be allowed to use your locker 3 times a day when the schedule 
permits.  In the morning you should get whatever books are needed depending 
on your daily schedule. After lunch you will get books needed for afternoon 
classes. The third time will be before dismissal. You should ALWAYS bring in 
your PLANNER!  YOU WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO GO TO YOUR LOCKER DURING CLASSES 
IF YOU FORGET YOUR HOMEWORK ACCEPT THE RESPONSIBILITY OF BEING UNPREPARED!!!!

What if we forget something in the locker or in homeroom?

You will NOT be allowed to go to your locker or back to homeroom after you 
have used your locker.  BE RESPONSIBLE AND BE SURE TO TAKE EVERYTHING YOU 
NEED.  LABEL YOUR NOTEBOOKS WITH THE SUBJECT NAME TO BE SURE YOU TAKE THE 
CORRECT ONE.  KEEP YOUR LOCKER ORGANIZED WITH EACH SUBJECT MATERIAL IN A 
SEPARATE NOTBOOK AND FOLDER.

Can we carry a backpack?

NO.  This is why we allow you to use the locker 3 times.  Backpacks are 
dangerous and there is no room for them in the classroom.
