When is the Winter Concert?

Tuesday, January 17, 2012 at 7:00 pm.

Chorus students will need to report to the music room by 6:15 to warm up
before Band and Strings gets set up.

Concert Dress is solid black bottom and solid white top with black dress shoes.

When will my child receive his/her recorder?

Hopefully in November.  Recorders will be distributed about a week after they 
arrive.  (Mrs. Kauffman labels all recorders, cases, and books for the 
students.)

When can my child choose a band instrument?

Band begins in 5th grade.  Students will choose their instruments at the end
of 4th grade for the following 5th grade year.  Mrs. Lindner is the Band Teacher.

When can my child choose a stringed instrument?

String instruments are chosen in 4th grade.  Mr. Finnegan is the Strings Teacher.

Is piano taught at school?

Piano class is not currently available at the elementary level.  There are 
piano classes beginning in Hammarskjold.
