I grew up in Sayreville, NJ and graduated Sayreville War Memorial High School
in 1998. In 2002 I received my Bachelors Degree in Communication Sciences and
Disorders from Penn State University (go Nittany Lions!). I graduated with my
Masters in Speech Language Pathology from Towson University in 2004. After
graduation I moved to New York City where I was fortunate enough to work in a
variety of settings. I worked with geriatric patients in a nursing home for a
year and at a nonprofit facility in NYC for 2 years. In 2007 I decided to
move back to New Jersey and was very lucky to find a position open in the
East Brunswick Public Schools. I have loved working in the schools since my
first day and am so happy to be here!
I am a huge football fan and spend my weekends in the fall rooting on the
Nittany Lions and the Giants. I enjoy spending time with my friends and
family, especially my nephew who was born March 1, 2010!
My mission is for all of the students to work on their individual speech and
language goals while still having fun. At each school there is a reward
system so students can earn prizes for doing homework and showing their best
behavior/trying their best!
