Learning Goals

Throughout the year you will learn:

  • Ratio and Ratio Language
  • To create tables and graphs
  • Interpret and compute quotients of fractions
  • Use Greatest Common Factor and Least Common Multiple
  • To understand absolute value
  • Evaluating numerical expressions

At the end of this course, you will:

  • Have a better understanding of measurement, data analysis and probability
  • Have stronger foundation in numeration and operations
  • Complete group and independent math projects
  • Gain more confidence in your personal math ability!

  • Math Textbook (when sent home)
  • Pencil ONLY!!!

Grading
Tests = 50%
Homework = 10%
Projects 20%
Participation 20% (attendance, class participation and daily preparedness)
