MOOSE Book (Management of Organizational Skills Everyday)
The MOOSE notebook is a tool that we use to help the students keep themselves
organized. It also
enhances communication between home and school. The notebook have several
sections.
1. Return to School pocket - This pocket is for lunch money, notes to the
office, permission slips,
absentee excuses, or anything that needs to be turned in. Homework does not
go in this pocket.
2. Parent/Teacher Communication - This section is for notes between the
teacher and the parent only.
We will keep this as an on-going dialogue when necessary. Please check daily.
3. Homework - This section will contain homework papers. When the homework is
completed, please
return them in the homework pocket. You may always call school and check on
my homework line for
the homework for that day.
4. Chatsworth School Notices - This section will contain notes from schoo, our
principal, the nurse,
Home and School Association, the school district as well as class information.
5. Newsletter - Here you will find the latest issue of our
classroom newsletter.
6. Calendar - In this section, you will find the calendar for the month. On
this calendar, the students
will mark test dates, project dates and other important dates for your reference.
