Please make note that we will be making gingerbread houses the last day of school before the December holiday break. Each child is invited to bring one grown up to help them. Though a notice will be going home I thought it may be good to make people aware in case you need to make plans to take off work, or make other arrangements. I undersatnd this is a busy time of year. Make sure you continue practicing spelling words, and reading with your child from their book in a bag daily. Please make sure take home folders are emptied and come to and from school with the children each day and that homework is returned daily unless otherwise noted. Children should bring a snack with them each day to school we have a working snack every morning unless it is a half day of school. Water bottles are permitted in my classroom and actually encouraged during the warm weather as the classroom does get very hot.. Please do not send in anything with nuts or peanut butter for snack as we do have children in our classroom with allergies.
