You are required to have a three-ring binder for English only. It will be split into four different sections:
Section 1 DO NOW/DO LATER: You do not have to begin each day with a clean sheet of paper; however you are expected to date each entry so that you will be able to quickly find information when needed.
Section 2 Literature: You will use this section to keep notes on the stories and key literary elements. You will be keeping story notes, collecting strategic reading Stop & Jots, Character Charts, and Independent Book information in this section.
Section 3 Writing: You will use this section to improve and develop your writing skills. Some writings will be graded, some will be shared, and some will be brought to a final draft at a later date. You will also keep all of your materials for the research paper in this section.
Section 4 Miscellaneous Items added as necessary.
