Mrs. Chiemiego 2nd Grade WEEKLY LETTER 11-20-09
READING: We will read two Thanksgiving Plays for reading next week.
SPELLING: There will be no spelling words, sentences, or test next week.
LANGUAGE: We are learning about Proper Nouns. Next week we will review
types of sentences and nouns.
SOCIAL STUDIES: We began our chapter on "America's Past". We
will learn about the first Americans and explorers. We will learn about the
Native Americans and Pilgrims. We made clay bowls this week. Next week we
will make indian houses. We will also watch some videos about Plymouth
Plantation and Native Americans.
MATH: Next week we will begin a new unit called "Geometry and Patterns".
Please return the PTO Fundraiser Books or the money to buy the book as soon
as possible.
Please sign and return report card envelopes.
