Homework is recorded from the board into the agenda each morning as well as
throughout the day during math, science and social studies. All
homework,projects and activities will be in this book.
Recording assignments and use of the agenda teaches responsibility and is an
important organizational tool. It is also a great way to stay in contact
between school and home. Please review the agenda each night with your child
and sign after all homework is completed. This way you will know what is
expected of your child. I will check the agenda each morning to check if
homework is recorded or to look for notes from parents.
Homework in the agenda may change during the day and there are often additions
or differentiated assignments made to each child’s agenda based on their
individual class or needs. Therefore, each child’s agenda may not be exactly
the same. Please rely on your CHILD'S AGENDA for EXACTLY what they need to
do. If your child is absent they may call one of their homework buddies
listed in their agenda.
