Hello! I am Mrs. Korff and I love teaching Chemistry!!!! I love doing fun
experiments with my students and watching their faces light up. I love
teaching abstract concepts and breaking it down so that the students can
understand it better. I love challenging students' creativity through hard
work and seeing them years later as they report of positive effects from
lessons (chem and life) learned in chem class. I love hearing that they
don't mind science after chemistry and I love it even more when they pursue
a science related career!
My theory is that I am the Chemistry Coach and the class is my team. Since
every good team needs to work hard to win games and championships, I expect
all my students to do their best and work hard. I demand the best from my
team and expect them to push the neurons in their brains to the max!
I am an avid marathoner with a goal of running 26.2 miles (a marathon) 100
times before I'm 50 years old.

Through our chemistry class, students not only learn how chemistry is
everywhere in life, but they are also prepared to tackle higher level
thinking, future life predicaments and anything life may throw at them!
