About The Teacher

Mrs. Misrahi is the Computer Lab Teacher at Edgar Middle School.  She has 
been a teacher since 1999. Prior to teaching she worked in the computer 
industry as a software designer, technical sales representative, and 
education director for Fortune 500 companies.  Mrs. Misrahi holds a 
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science and recently completed her Masters 
Degree in Educational Leadership.  She hold a New Jersey State Principal 
License and New Jersey State Supervisor Certificate.

Mrs. Misrahi was appointed as the Acting Director of The Zone, our 
after-school program at Edgar Middle School during the month of October and 
November, 2011. She was helping out while Mr. Hogerbee recoved from an 
injury.  

When Mrs. Misrahi is not teaching,  she enjoys spending time with her family.  
She is married to Jeff and has three children Sarah, Jon and Diana.  A recent 
addition to their family has been Sophie, a 3 year old mixed breed.  Mrs. 
Misrahi enjoys traveling, kayaking, hiking, biking, gardening, walking her dog 
and cooking.  

Mission For The Class

Every student will have:
-A basic understand of computer technology that will enable them to adapt and 
adopt future technologies.   
-Talk the talk.  Define and explain the key technologies currently available.
-Master basic programs like MS Office suite of tools.
-Be able to research using the web like a pro with a discerning eye for 
accuracy, authenticity and consistency. 
-Net etiquette that Emily Post would be proud of. 
-A love for change.....those who embrace technology change are the ones who 
will direct it’s future.
