We are almost finished reading The City of Ember. Will Doon and Lina find a way out? Will Mayor Cole be caught? Stay tuned!

Students continue to work on adding details to their writing. Details include similes and onomatopoeia. In addition, students have begun to utilize the thesaurus to expand vocabulary as well as incorporate better words in their writing.
