Birthdays are always a special event. Each child is invited to bring in a class treat to celebrate his or her birthday in school. If a child's birthday falls on a nonschool day, we can celebrate on the nearest school day. Children celebrating birthdays in late June, July, August or early September may pick another day to celebrate. Please just let me know at least a day ahead.
We will have recess indoors during inclement weather. The childtren are welcome to bring in games to play at this time. If you have any games, puzzles or books at home which you no longer use, our children would greatly appreciate them. Remember that hand held games and iPods may not be played in the classsroom even during recess.
If you need to speak to me for any reason please call the school at 852-1376 @ ext. 3117. You may also leave me an email message for less urgent messages DGarland@wtschools.org.
Parents, please fill out the survey about your children by the end of the first week of school. I will share these with Mrs. Baker. Students, plan to tell us all about yourself the first few days of school.
