Dear Students and Families,

Welcome to the 2008-2009 school year! I am Mrs. Kurtz and I will be your resource center teacher for Language Arts Literacy (please see below for supplies). I am looking forward to a great start this September.

In the beginning weeks of Language Arts Literacy, we will be conducting Reader's Workshop. This will help determine where we need to begin, as well as what we need to review.

Once again, welcome to fourth grade. Enjoy the rest of your summer vacation. I know we are going to have a successful and exciting year!

List of supplies for the upcoming school year:

• 1 composition notebook or 1-one subject spiral notebook
• 1 folder for homework
• 1-one inch binder (hard or soft cover)
• Pencils and erasers
