Will my child miss too much if he/she is absent?

If your child shows any signs of illness, 
PLEASE keep him home.
We will give him extra time and
attention upon his return.
I will put missed work in his cubby,
and he can get it upon his return.
You can check our website to get
the current week's reading and spelling words.

What should I send for snack?

Please send in something small to tide them over:  
juice, water, fruit, cheese, crackers. They should be able to
open small containers by themselves.
Be sure to include forks,spoons, and a napkin if necessary.

Birthday?

If you will be sending in a birthday snack, 
please let me know a few days ahead.
We have 15 students in the class.
Birthday party invitations may go home in
the cubbies ONLY if all children in the class are invited.

Class Parties?

We  have several class parties throughout the 
year: Halloween, Christmas, Valentines, Last
Day of School Picnic.
Parent help is always appreciated.

Notes for dismissal

If your child's regular dismissal routine 
changes for any reason...getting picked up early,
getting picked up by a friend's parent,
staying after school for scouts, tutoring...
you must write a note that day. Please include the date.
