Going Batty Students participated in a bat
simulation. They wore bat wings
to get the feeling of the bat's
wing. Children learned all about
how the bat's wing is similar to
the human hand, but it is
connected with a membrane (shower
curtain). |

Bat Riddles Our class shared bat riddles. We
had a great time reading and
thinking about our answers. |

Spiders & Monsters & Bats--OH MY!!! Students created a creepy, scary,
yet darling display of the work
they did during this unit! They
wrote some amazing Haiku poetry
about our beloved bats. |
