I have been teaching ILA at Hammarskjold for many years. Since both reading
and writing are two of my favorite things to do, teaching these subjects to
my students is a real pleasure. I am looking forward to a wonderful school
year.
One of my goals is to help every child in my class establish good reading
habits and a lifelong love of books. In addition, guiding each child on the
road to becoming enthusiastic, proficient writers will be another priority.
Spelling and vocabulary development will be addressed in the Words Their Way
program.
