This week in class we will be wrapping up Unit 8 by discussing rates and calories / nutrition.
There will be a quiz on Friday, May 16 on all the material covered in class this week. Our unit
test will be next Wednesday, May 21 and the open response will be on Thursday, May 22. We will
review in class on Monday and Tuesday of next week.
We began this unit at the beginning of April and have had many interruptions to the curriculum
because of field trips, spring break and NJASK testing. I explained to the students in class
how important it is for them to study to help pull all the material learned in this unit
together. I strongly suggest that students begin reviewing for the test this weekend. They can
use the review sheets on this website. As always, I appreciate your support.
One final note that all materials must be returned to the media center by May 23rd for inventory
and packing. If your child has borrowed materials from the media center, please make sure they
are returned by this date.
