Week of November 2-6
Any Changes to homework will be posted in class. Students contiue to be responsible for writing down homework in agenda. The website is simply a back up reference for students and parents.
Homework: Monday November 2
· Read for 30 minutes and record on log · Pen Pal letter- write proper heading on paper and first paragraph. Use the Pen Pal handout to help you. · No word work due to short week. · No reading response due to Pen Pal letter writing.
. BEGIN TO ORGANIZE YOUR READING NOTEBOOK, WORD WORK NOTEBOOK AND WRITER'S NOTEBOOK- YOU WILL BE GRADED ON YOUR NOTEBOOKS NEXT WEEK. I WILL HAND OUT THE RUBRIC IN CLASS ON MONDAY.
Tuesday November 3
· Read for 30 minutes and record on log · Pen Pal letter- write second paragraph · Vocabulary Word Wall- Use a thesaurus or an online thesaurus to find three synonyms for the word bad. Use an index card and write the word bad and each of your new words on one side. On the opposite side, write the definition for each of the new words and use all three words in 3 different sentences that clearly show the words meaning. · BEGIN TO ORGANIZE YOUR
Wednesday November 4
· Read for 30 minutes and record on log · Pen Pal letter- write second and third paragraph- due on Monday November 9- typed and ready to send. · BEGIN TO ORGANIZE YOUR
NO SCHOOL TODAY BUT YOU MUST READ,WORK ON PEN PAL AND NOTEBOOKS
