In order to prepare for the Hammarskjold Middle School Orchestra (HMSO) Winter
Concert, it is necessary to schedule several after-school rehearsals. At
these rehearsals, the period 1, 4/5 and 10 classes are combined. The
after-school rehearsals will be held on the Hammarskjold stage from 2:55 pm to
3:35 pm. Late bus passes will be given. Students receive extra credit for
attending these rehearsals.
Please remind your child to practice! Students should be practicing a minimum
of two hours per week in order to have a successful orchestral experience.

SNOW DATE: Thursday, December 17, 2009
6th Grade students will report the cafeteria at 6:00 pm to be tuned and to
warm up.
7th Grade students will report to the cafeteria at 6:15 pm to be tuned and to
warm up.
Dress for the concert is white shirt and black (or as dark as possible) pants
or skirt. Absolutely no sneakers, jeans, or sweats. The concert starts at
7:00 pm and is free. Please invite your family and friends.
