About The Teacher

Welcome back to Hammarskjold!  I am happy and excited to be your 7th grade 
math teacher this year.  Having been a substitute teacher in the district 
for a few years, I may be a familiar face to many of you.  I am looking 
forward to having you all in my class and getting to know you better.  After 
going through East Brunswick schools myself (I went to Hammarskjold too!), I 
received my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education and Psychology from 
The College of New Jersey.  I am currently working on a Master's Degree at 
Monmouth University.  I have always had a passion for math, and I look 
forward to sharing my excitement with all of you this year!

Mission For The Class

My mission is to establish and maintain a classroom with a positive, safe, 
and friendly learning atmosphere.  I need everyone’s help in order to create 
this type of setting on a daily basis.  My goals this year are for all 
students to be confident in their math abilities, understand concepts, learn 
from peers, help peers, and develop problem solving skills.
