My Students~
I hope you have thoroughly enjoyed your mini-break and are ready to come back
and begin our new unit on Variables, Formulas, and Graphs! I can already see
the excitement building. :)
Seriously, we will start Unit 3 tomorrow which, like the previous units, will
be building upon previously learned material. We have 2-1/2 weeks of solid
work ahead of us before the Thanksgiving break, so let's stay focused and get
right down to it!
I am only staying after this week to administer tests to those students who
were out last week, so that I may bring them up to speed. As we move along,
ask questions in the classroom. When you ask a question, record my answer in
your journal. Make little notes to yourself in the margins on the pages that
we work on. In this way, when you go back to study for quizzes, your notes
will remind you of certain pitfalls to watch out for and how to handle them.
